Genius brass ware worker, goldsmith, lacquer and sculptor, the name of Jean Dunand is associated to decorative Arts.

Through contact with Sugawara, a Japanese lacquerer living in France, he became an exceptional lacquerer. In a simple and pure form, Jean Dunand highlights the art of lacquering, which he combines with magnificent work in the decorative arts.
