Remarks:

Decorator and glass enameller but also a model creator, Marcel Goupy is part of the group named Les Artisans Français Contemporains (with Decoeur, Lenoble, Simmen, Décorchemont, Lalique) selected by the famous dealer Georges Rouard. He mainly uses enamel for its decorative means, creating compositions based on arabesques and stylised décor. He tends to create more purified artworks, where the material overrules the décor with marbles and plating but without definitely ceasing to use decorative motives.
