Claude Goutin

Little Vertue

Original posthumous bronze proof representing a feminine torso. The uncompleted bodies also emphasize this connection to antiquity, as if they were witnesses to an ancient civilization rediscovered. Armless, cropped at the knees, and with the top of the head missing, this sculpture unquestionably alludes to an ancient legacy.

The original terracotta model was created in 2004.
