Remarks:

During the 30s, Eugène Printz creates pieces of furniture on gilded metal bases. His great experience gives him perfect technique mastery in his work of cabinetmaker. He knows how to combine rare tree species to veneered metal, oxidized and moiré. Therefore, he creates a calm atmosphere emphasized by purified lines. The artist’s originality and rigor led him towards new and personal ideas.
