Remarks:
This artwork is part of Ernest Chaplet’s personal research, realized in his workshop situated in Choisy-le-Roi, which he occupied from 1888 to 1909. Indeed, the artist fully masters his art’s means and develops a new decorative vocabulary based on the expressive richness of enamel and shapes both lively and sensitive.
